Seven Comms wins Aussie car subscription service’s PR account

Australia car subscription service, eCar Subscription, has appointed Seven Communications as its Australian PR agency of record, Mumbrella can reveal.

Marking a significant milestone for both companies, the partnership will help eCar Subscription with its goals of revolutionising the way consumers view car ownership in a subscription-based society.

Powered by East Coast Car Rentals, the subscription service has been making waves in the Australian automotive market, offering flexible and tailored plans to suit individual needs. It allows consumers to access the latest vehicles without the long-term commitment of ownership.

Seven Communications has been tasked with developing and executing a comprehensive PR strategy, focusing on media relations, digital campaigns, and strategic spokespeople communications.

The agency will be responsible for increasing brand awareness and showcasing the benefits of a flexible car ownership model.

“We are thrilled to join forces with Seven Communications and have them looking after our eCar Subscription brand,” said Ben Whitmore, chief marketing officer at East Coast Car Rentals.

“They have a track record of securing incredible results within our industry, and we believe this collaboration will help us reach new heights.

“Our mission is to showcase the benefits of vehicle subscriptions, offering simple, hassle free alternatives to suit individual needs, and with Seven Communications by our side, we are confident in achieving this goal.”

Seven Communications’ founder and managing director, Patrice Pandeleos, added: “We are incredibly excited to work with eCar Subscription.

“Our goal is to amplify eCar Subscription’s innovative offerings and showcase the benefits of car subscriptions to a wider audience. Together, we believe we can drive positive change in this industry.”

The agency also recently won out-of-home company JCDecaux’s ANZ PR account, as Mumbrella revealed last month. It has been tasked with its always-on media relations program, event management and upcoming campaigns.

Meanwhile, it welcomed Gareth Beddoes – formerly of Soda Communications and Thrive PR – to the role of director of PR in April.
