Seven Network announces new 7NEWS Brisbane team after Sharyn Ghidella axing
The Seven Network has announced a new co-anchor for 7NEWS Brisbane after axing long-running presenter, Sharyn Ghidella.
On Saturday, the network confirmed that award-winning journalist Sarah Greenhalgh will join Max Futcher as the co-anchor of the flagship 6pm weekday bulletin from Monday, 21 October.
Greenhalgh first began her career as a traffic helicopter reporter in Brisbane, followed by stints in regional newsrooms like Mackay and Cairns, before returning to the Queensland capital in 2013.
Most recently, she worked as a reporter on Seven’s Spotlight program.
