Seven takes Thursday back from Ten in TV ratings

Seven moved back into second place in Thursday TV ratings, after Ten narrowly nabbed the spot the same day last week, led by its strong-rating Masterchef and Glee.

Ten took the top two most-watched spots among 16-39s, 18-49s and 25-54s with Masterchef and Glee. The 7PM Project also had a good night coming in third among 16-39s and fourth among 18-49s.

Meanwhile, the ABC’s broadcast of the Budget: The Right of Reply from opposition leader Tony Abbott saw 659,000 tune in, according to overnight preliminary OzTam data in the main metro markets.

The result was slightly lower than the Treasurer’s Budget Speech on Tuesday night, also on the ABC, which had 677,000 viewers.
