Seven wins Thursday night; news leads the way

Seven had a slim victory over Nine last night, in another evening where news dominated the TV ratings.

Seven News (1.4m) and Today Tonight (1.2m) took the top two slots on a slow night, while ABC News was fifth in the preliminary OzTam ratings.

Other topical show in the top ten were Nine News and A Current Affair.

Last night’s free TV share: Seven 27.8%; Nine 25.9%; Ten 23.4%; ABC 17.3%; SBS 5.6%.
