Sky News rebrands main channel

Sky News has relaunched its main news channel as Sky News Live.

The release:

From today, channel 601 will re-launch as SKY NEWS LIVE, further cementing SKY NEWS as Australia’s only 24-hour multi-channel, multi-platform news broadcaster.

SKY NEWS LIVE (previously SKY NEWS National) will further expand its unrivalled LIVE rolling news, national affairs, business, sport, entertainment and weather coverage.

Wow – Sky continues its long march toward a Fox News clone. Think I will stick with ABC News 24. Triple the ratings – minus the rightwing bias.
