Smith Family tells stories of disadvantaged kids in animated social media campaign

The Smith Family are drawing attention to the stories of Australian children living in disadvantaged situations through an animated social media campaign which tells the story of how one young Australian made it through school with the help from charity.

The campaign, co-produced with The Solid State, tells the story of Steven Tu who was able to make it to the end of year 12 thanks to the support of the national children’s education charity.

Creator, Danny Lachevre, from The Solid State, said: “Steven & the Tightrope Walk captures the detrimental emotional effects of disadvantage on a child through using some of the storytelling tools often found in fairytales.”
