Snackable TV founder says platform not shutting down, optimistic about business’ future
Snackable TV founder Kate Edwards has said the business will be reinvesting in staff members, following the company’s move to Byron Bay.
The business, which claimed to be the ‘world’s first digital platform’ delivering ‘snack sized content’ to young audiences relocated to Byron Bay earlier this year, while recently a number of staff in Sydney were made redundant.
I would recommend asking a few more people about their business activities to get a more balanced view on what been happening.
The AdNews piece only covered the tip of the iceberg.
They bought a perceived large audience via ‘like’ ads on FB to make themselves look popular, then did the outdoor/poster campaign when they were going to market to sell ads/content to agencies/brands, advertisers bought it hook line and sinker but then when the first round of content was not engaged with by interested audiences, no brands followed up for repeat media buys. They were chasing their tail since.
