Yes, it’s terrible but kudos to the man for actually doing work for his employer.
Seems he needs someone higher up to give a little guidance on how not to approach potential clients/humans/anyone with an email address/social account.
This is very amusing, but a bit cruel. It’s pretty easy to find out who this person is.
I agree with @Shame.
My view on getting cheap laughs like this has always been made clear. I cringe with embarrassment that our industry does this stuff and Mumbrella need not have been so overt to shame an individual and could have been more discreet in concealing identity.
@shame. This appears to be an unsolicited communication. This awesome person’s employer is in the communications industry. Fair game.
I might hire him. My lead business KPI is “To make my business socially awesome”. Tick. Now next KPI.

Either he started the company or his tone is just a reflection of what a “fun”, “awesome” place it is to work “with each member proactively being happy”
Guy works in Sales would of sent 100 of that same email. At the very least he would of hit his inputs.

@ Grow up. No, this is not bullying. This is a marketing commentary website pointing out the vapidity of certain practitioners in our industry. Did this thinksocializer vet the recipient and his business? What sort of thinksocializing might mUmBRELLA actually need? What’s the most appropriate tone of voice when making a cold-call like this? Jordan PM is correct, this is a best-practice example of how not to approach a business.
