Sportsbet pokes fun at NRL clubs in latest comedy YouTube clip
To promote its 2018 season NRL betting services, online bookmaker Sportbet has released a comedy YouTube video looking at each club’s current problems in “NRL Restaurant”.
Opening the skit is a Brisbane Broncos fan waiting for long delayed premiership, a Dragons supporter finding there’s no booking for them in the top eight, and a Parramatta barracker finding the Jarryd Hayne 2017 vintage wine heavier than the 2009 version.
Featuring in the clip is a posh eastern suburbs fan who buys up all the expensive items on the menu, while a Gold Coast Titans supporter scrounges scraps from his fellow diners.
The in-house produced video is one of a series of comedy clips Sportsbet has rolled out for previous NRL seasons.

Sportsbet continues to set the benchmark for content marketing
Fantastic.
Brilliant – well done
I don’t question Sportsbet being the market leaders in the sports content creation space… but this isn’t new and innovative. Sporting News AU have produced similar in recent months.
