Stan’s CEO Martin Kugeler talks the success of its pay-per-view product

Stan Event premiered its boxing heavyweight clash, “Turf War” – headlined by two of the biggest names in Australian sport, dual rugby international star Sonny Bill Williams who knocked out AFL premiership winner Barry Hall at the ICC Sydney last night.

And today, Stan CEO, Martin Kugeler told Mumbrella it’s a fight worth talking about, as the platform gears up its pay-per-view offering on Stan Event.

Will be interesting to see if Stan invest in the sport at the grassroots level and televise boxing cards as part of their normal subscription package rather than pay-per-view.
