Stockland commemorates diverse role of dads in Father’s Day Campaign
Property group Stockland has celebrated the diverse role dads play in the development of their children for its annual Father’s Day campaign.
Created by CX Lavender, the ‘Dad. A small world for a big job’ campaign, sheds light on the significant role dads play whether they are the “strong silent type or the shoulder to cry on”.
More laboured than childbirthfd
Like the recent Westpac ad – good storytelling here but this creative could have been used for any brand – I don’t get the tie-back to the brand – nor do I think anyone will notice its Stockland thats advertising – even after the (far too) subtle branding at the end.
I also get the vibe that all the footage is stock footage from international sources – many of the people and places don’t look very Australian at all (I could be wrong but) – it takes away from the relateabililty somewhat for me.
Mothers day campaign re-skinned for Fathers Day? Inventive.
The first Father’s Day spot I’ve seen this year placing the customer in the center of the story. Well played Lavender And Stockland, I assume most Retailers will be advertising mobile phones and socks. Not bad having a spotlight of us blokes.
