Sunrise lands post divorce Kim Kardashian interview, but Kyle & Jackie O (and Ten News) gets to her first
Seven’s breakfast TV show Sunrise has snaffled a studio interview with US celebrity Kim Kardashian in what will be her first live TV appearance since announcing that she was divorcing just two months after getting married.
Kardashian is in Australia for the Melbourne Cup. was due in Australia for the Melbourne Cup, althoguh flight delays only saw her arrive on Tuesday.
Sunrise EP Michael Pell described the exclusive as “a major coup”.
Kardashian, and her sister Khloe, will appear after 8am on Thursday.
So?
it’s a good get – well done Sunrise!
Here’s hoping that they don’t let grandpa Kochie interview them…
I am looking forward to hear how found a cure to cancer, broke a peace deal in the Middle East and ended world poverty.
Who cares? While most news channels last night followed SJP or the Kardashian divorce, real channels like ABC and SBS where reporting on the big issues and news like the boat crash off Indonesia. I wish this country would look at their priorities in regards to what is and isn’t news.
I agree with Madge – let one of the younger staffers such as Edwina Bartholomew / James Tobin / Fi-Fi Box do the interview.
we do care about other serious issues but these idiosyncrasies of the “celebrities” provide good humor for us mere mortals. Then back to the serious stuff!1 Lighten up. It was only a matter of time that the marriage would end.
So the entertainment (yes, I use this term loosely) show Sunrise thought they had landed a “coup” by interviewing a very mediocre nobody, but they were beaten to it by two of the most vacuous hosts on this Earth? And some say we are at the peak of our civilisation…
slow news days turning into no news years…awful stuff
Care factor? ZERO
Media is feeding the Kardashian business….how silly are we?
Top marks to her PR machine – not many people could equal a Kardashian for substance, but they look to have found the right interviewers for the job.
Full marks to Michael Pell.
