The new commercial, created by DDB, promotes the $115 package which combines broadband, local and STD calls and mobile together with 11 Foxtel on T-Box channels.
The ad features two stuffed toy monsters enjoying the benefits of the new package. It is significant as it is Telstra biggest push yet into the IPTV space.
It comes two months after Telstra CMO Mark Buckman took over responsibility for IPTV.
The market for IPTV in Australia is growing rapidly with new entrants such as Hoyts and Ezydvd both signalling that they would enter the market.
Telstra announced the entertainer package a week ago and since rolled out the campaign in television and online.
I often wonder why you guys post so many ad’s. Who cares if Telstra has a new campaign? Or if McDonalds has a new chicken ad? Are new ads newsworthy?

I have never been able to work any Telstra bundle. If only they were as simple as a McDonalds bundle (value meal ); a burger, fries and a Coke.
What exactly is a bigpond movie? What the hell is a T-Box? I am too busy living my life to have any idea what you guys are talking about.
Is a T-Box a tissue box? Can I access Foxtel on a Kleenex?
