Ten and Fox Sports secure rights to 2019 Rugby World Cup
Ten and Fox Sports have secured rights to broadcast the 2019 Rugby World Cup, which takes place from September 20 in Japan.
Ten’s free-to-air deal secured the broadcast and digital rights to ten games, including every Wallabies game, up to and including the final. The matches will take place during Australian prime time.
“The 2019 Rugby World Cup is one of the biggest international sporting events of the year and the crown jewel in the rugby calendar,” said Ten’s chief executive officer Paul Anderson.
