Ten names The Project’s replacement news show
Paramount’s Network Ten has announced a new “premium, in-depth” news program, 10 News+, as a replacement for the soon-to-be-shut down show The Project.
10 News+ will follow Network Ten’s 5pm local news bulletins nationally, going live at 6pm in a move that sets up a head-to-head clash with Seven and Nine’s nightly news bulletins. Ten says it offer audiences “extended context and deeper reporting” on the day’s biggest stories.
According to a media release, it aims to redefine evening news, by providing comprehensive analysis, trusted reporting, and long-form investigative journalism. It will be integrated across broadcast, streaming, digital, and social platforms, led by executive producer Daniel Sutton.
What a terrible name
I am going to miss the Project
Is it just going to be more of the same corporate backed, sponsor protecting, focus pulling rubbish that basically ALL commercial media has become? If so, don’t bother. Not interested.
