Ten and Seven tie in audience share as cricket again hands Nine the win

A_Touch_of_Frost_title_cardTen and Seven tied for second place in audience share with both stations grabbing 14.8 per cent overnight, while Nine won the night with a share of 19 per cent and the ABC settled for a share of 11.3 per cent.

However when secondary channels are accounted for Seven pushed ahead of Ten with an overall audience share of 26.9 per cent thanks to 7Two which grabbed a share of 7.5 per cent after 352,000 viewers tuned in for the final episode of A Touch of Frost at 8.30pm.

Meanwhile all three sessions of the cricket test between Australia and India made the top 20 shows of the day, with the evening session the most watched non-news show with 768,000 viewers tuning in on Nine. Session one was watched by 458,000 with 551,000 watching the afternoon session.

Getaway was the channel’s second most watched non-news show, grabbing an audience of 670,000 in the 8pm timeslot, out-rating the ABC’s Catalyst  which was watched by 604,000, OzTam overnight metro ratings show.
