Ten’s CSI: Cyber slips on second outing as Masterchef most-watched non-news show
Ten’s newest crime show CSI: Cyber shed more than 100,000 metro viewers on its second outing, posting a metro audience of 531,000, after grabbing 645,000 metro viewers last week.
In the 9pm timeslot, it out-rated Seven’s Bones (airing from 9.15pm), which was watched by 446,000 while Nine’s Jailhouse Girls, on from 9.30pm, posted a metro audience of 429,000.
Nine won the night with an audience share of 19.8 per cent, just ahead of Seven’s share of 19 per cent. Ten claimed third place with a share of 17.2 per cent while the ABC settled for fourth place with a share of 12.7 per cent.
When secondary channels are accounted for, Seven won the night with a total audience share of 28 per cent, ahead of Nine’s total share of 26 per cent.
Is there any point in these anymore? Really?
500,000 people watching something in a nation of 23,000,000?
First that is metro only – so not a population of 23,000,000.
Second it still pisses from a huge height on the audience any other medium can get in just one hour.
So basically, to answer your question – yes.
P.S. I don’t like the show at all, but I also don’t like ill-informed comments.
