Tequila wins first round of Creative Showcase
Digital agency Tequila has won the first round of this year’s IAB Creative Showcase for its Pedigree Adoption Drive Application – a campaign to persuade people to adopt a homeless pet.
The announcement:
Sydney – 10 August 2010 – Tequila’s ‘Pedigree Adoption Drive Application’ has been declared the winner of the first round of the fifth annual Creative Showcase, Australia’s leading free online award for creativity in digital advertising. In a close competition, Visual Jazz was awarded second place for its work on Defence Force Recruiting campaign while Holler secured third place for its XXXX campaign. The winners were chosen by a panel of industry judges.
The winners were announced today at the Creative Showcase lunch, which also included an in-depth look at last round’s Creative Showcase winner – Visual Jazz’s ‘Dance Off 3D’ for Jay Jays.
No mention of how good the lunch was, Tim ?
One day we’ll grow up and become “real” news…
I wouldn’t know, Mike.
With apologies if I missed it in my entirely disorganised in-box which is always a possibility, I don’t think I was invited.
Cheers,
Tim – Mumbrella
How is this not real news MikeZed? Because Tim didn’t spend an hour rewriting a press release that said it all perfectly? Or because you’re simply not interested in reading about a few hard working agencies who have been rewarded for producing effective work?
Retracted. *blush*
MissH, you probably realised all this by now, and i should have delcared my vested interest in this – my dig was at Tim for putting the story in FYI rather than the news section – to be honest, i’m actually just glad it was covered at all.
Tim – my apologies, i looked through our 250 strong email list, and you’re not in it – so will definitely add you onto the list, so you can experience the lunch for yourself. Next one is in October. I’d also encourage you to join our facebook group – just search Creative Showcase Australia
Thanks, Mike. Duly joined…
Cheers,
Tim
I for one am quite chuffed that MissH thought the press release said it all “perfectly” – as the author of said release I definitely have a vested interest to declare 🙂
