The Bachelorette builds on debut pulling 973,000 on a quiet night for TV viewing
Ten’s The Bachelorette built its audience last night at the expense of its primetime competitors with 973,000 metropolitan viewers tuning in for its second episode.
The result is up on its Wednesday night debut where the show, featuring last year’s contestant Sam Frost, drew 875,000 and helped Ten achieve a 15.6 per cent main channel share on what was otherwise a quiet night for TV viewing.
According to Oztam overnight ratings, no program drew more than one million viewers with The Bachelorette the most watched show of the night and across all the advertising demographics.
Over on Seven the X Factor ran from 7.30pm to 9.20pm and drew an average audience of 876,000, down on the 902,000 it drew last week when it was up against Ten’s The Bachelor finale. On Nine RBT pulled 678,000 at 7.30pm, Kings Cross ER at 8pm had 550,000 viewers, and The Footy SHow at 8.30pm managed 640,000, ahead of semi-finals for the AFL and NRL this weekend.

Well done TEN !!!!
I am loving the Bachelorette. Sam appears to be an absolute champion too. Big things ahead for her; no doubt, if she gets the right manager.
