Africa, the final destination David Attenborough’s Seven Worlds One Planet takes viewers to before a retrospective episode concludes the series next week, brought 503,000 metro viewers to Nine on Wednesday night.

The episode ended with a call to action about some of the atrocities being committed against the planet in Africa, including a spotlight on the ivory trade, causing many viewers to take emotionally to Twitter after it aired.
