The Voice boosts on launch audience as Masterchef breaks the 1m viewer mark
The Voice managed to boost its audience from last week’s debut last night while Masterchef managed to get above the 1m viewer mark.
Nine’s singing contest, which ran for 90 minutes from 7pm managed a metro audience of 1.608m, up from last week’s debut of 1.557m while Ten’s cooking show which started at 7.30pm grew to 1.01m last night, after sinking to 879,000 last Sunday.
Both shows out-rated Seven’s House Rules in the reality battle, which grabbed 992,000 metro viewers in the 7pm-8.15pm timeslot.
