The Voice wins night for Nine while Ten’s Masterchef flounders
Nine won Monday night’s TV with a strong showing from The Voice while Ten’s Masterchef found itself behind the ABC’s repeat of its 2015 profile of Bob Hawke.
The second outing of Nine’s talent show saw the program attract 963,000 metro viewers as the top non-news show for the evening, beating out Home and Away’s 727,000 and Ten’s Have You Been Paying Attention which saw 673,000 viewers tune in.
How does “The second outing of Nine’s talent show saw the program attract 693,000 metro viewers as the top non-news show for the evening” end up “beating out Home and Away’s 727,000”?
Last time I looked 693,000 < 727,000 and Home and Away was not news.
Yes, but what does this all really mean?
In its simplest form, it means that the public is tired of bullshit cooking experts and so-called contests. It means that VOICE, in spite of old boy celebrity bullshit shenanigans, is akin to what people really want to see, it is not what they want to see, but it is akin to it.
Thank you ‘Huh?’, that typo – it should have read 963,000 – has been corrected.
Why wouldn’t master chef struggle not 1 public person gets to taste the food only gary george and mart the show is boring and not worth wasting my time watching
Masterchef is worn out . Same old format , only tasting the five dishes they decide are the beast and it seems to always be the same people , they get their favourites and encourage them no end ,
George is so rude when a contestant is struggling ,he should be encouraging them, he eats like a piggy , Matt is a , large man wearing those awful clothes , Garry is ok , how can you compare a pav with a curry ?
Cooking nights could be entree night , beef night , lamb night , sea food night , desert night , then curry Night , vegetarian night , then divided into groups where one group cooks for the other contestants It just needs a boost ,,
