The Works unveils Skoda ‘Value Written All Over It’ ad
The Works Sydney has created a new TV ad for Skoda to promote the Octavia.
The camapign is called ‘Value written all over it’.
Kevin Macmillan, creative partner at The Works, said: “We wanted to build on Skoda’s reputation for brilliant craftsmanship and clever technology. More importantly we wanted to create a through the line campaign which stood out – so much car advertising is generic and forgettable. We agreed with the client that a car that stands out deserves advertising that stands out.”
Lovely
they have come a long way
Hasn’t Ford got a TV and print campaign exactly like that?
I like the ford one
‘sloda’??
bleeeeeeeeeeeeeuuuuuuuuurrrrrrrrrrrrrrgh.
The campaign has turd written all over it, more like it.
Last time I drove one, I was in the south of the Czech Republic back in 1995. I have to admit, my thoughts at the time did not include ‘ oh , I can’t wait for these to come to Australia’ but yes Macsmutterings they have come a long way. Not far enough enough for this black to duck to even consider buying one. But maybe one day…..
Ta – undathematt. Sorted…

This us a copy of what skoda did in a Europe ad. Fresh thinking perception or just another tired old rehash
Ad aside, the car isn’t that bad – got one as a hire in Melbourne and it was pretty nice to drive. Had a bit of oomph for a mild looking wagon, which I didn’t expect at all.
Volkswagen Golf with a different body.
Skoda = VAG for the masses.
The current growth brands (Hyundai, Mazda, etc.) should take very, very careful note.
I’d like to see someone spoof that ad! Or make a reference to it in a Seth McFarlane animated series (think Family Guy will make a cutaway reference to that ad? I hope so!).
