‘This campaign aims to capture the essence of fatherhood’: Rebel spotlights dads’ role in community sports
Rebel Sport has launched a Father’s Day campaign via The General Store that follows the journey of dads supporting their children through the ups and downs of sports.
The hero film showcases a father and soccer coach delivering an inspirational locker room speech to his daughter’s team before they head out to the field.
The General Store chief creative officer Marcus Tesoriero said this campaign is an opportunity to thank dads for their relentless support and to recognise the huge impact they have on their children’s lives.
The General Store managing director, Sophie Lander, added: “We wanted to show how dads can be the unsung heroes, turning daily challenges into triumphs. This campaign aims to capture the essence of fatherhood, highlighting the resilience, dedication, and support that dads provide, day in and day out.”
The Thank Dad For Being On Your Team integrated campaign is rolling out across digital media, social channels and in-store experience.
The film was brought to life by accomplished director Michael Gupta.
