TV audiences down across the board with The Force topping the night

The Force Television audiences were down across the board last night with no program reaching above the million mark.

Seven’s The Force was the highest rating non-news program of the evening with an audience of 903,000 metropolitan viewers, down from 1.125m this time last week.

Over on the ABC, in the 8.30pm slot The Chaser’s Media Circus was down from 759,000 last week to 707,000 while Mad as Hell was up with an audience of 699,000 viewers, compared with 649,000 last week. 

Nine’s Big Brother also fell, with 583,000 viewers tuning in to see how the four new contestants interacted with the rest of the house and to see four of the original contestants be sectioned off in another part of the House.
