The Voice wins Sunday night as MasterChef boosts Sunday audience

Nine trumped Seven in the ratings on Sunday night, with The Voice, 60 Minutes and Nine News taking out the three top places and delivering the network an audience share of 29.4 per cent, preliminary overnight metro ratings from OzTam show.

The Voice, which had its eighth blind auditions episode airing at 6.30pm until 8pm, was the winner attracting a total metro audience of 1.967m metro viewers while its direct competitor House Rules over on Seven, also airing from 6.30pm until 7.40pm, had a total metro audience of 1.276m.

Ten’s MasterChef, which aired from 7.30pm until 9pm, saw 924,000 metro viewers tune in, up from last Sunday which saw 774,000 metro viewers tune in, however it was the only program from Ten to make it into the top ten most watched shows.
