TV’s Top 20 of Week 34: Nine Blocks Ten
With Mastechef out of the way, Ten failed to score one show in Week 34’s ratings top 20 – in fact, Ten’s highest ranking show was Talking ’bout Your Generation at a lowly 37.
It was a bumper week for the Nine Network however with seven places in the top ten including five episodes of The Block.
Last Sunday’s episode of the renovation show was the most viewed show with 2m viewers while in second place was Monday’s episode with 1.675m. The program placed 6th for Tuesday’s episode, 7th for Thursday’s and 8th for Wednesday’s scoring; 1.399m, 1.316m and 1.311m respectively, as it geared up for last night’s finale which racked up a very strong 3m viewers, the most viewed program of the year, despite the anticlimactic finish of three of the four houses passing in on the auction.
Elsewhere on the top ten, Nine News Sunday came third with 1.618 viewers, 60 Minutes 5th with 1.579m, Seven News Sunday rounding out the top five with 1.494m. Seven’s Winners & Losers reappeared in the top ten with 1.27m and Seven News Monday-Friday averaging 1.262m.
