Val Morgan launches ‘digital pyramid’
Val Morgan Retail Media has placed a ‘digital pyramid’ in Sydney’s Macquarie Shopping Centre.
The outdoor execution is a three 4-metre digital screens, joined together.
Intel is the first to use the space, promoting the “visibly smart” second generation Intel Core processor. The ad is a two-minute video loop.
Anthony Deeble, managing director of Val Morgan Retail Media said: “This new innovation is a great example of the impact of digital in shopping centres. We worked with Intel and OMD to create a unique custom build which has high impact and is strategically positioned to capture shoppers. With shopping centre traffic peaking in the lead up to Christmas, this provides an ideal opportunity for advertisers like Intel to really stand out.”
Daniel Anderson, advertising manager for Intel Australia said: “As an innovative technology brand we are always attracted to innovative media first opportunities, especially when they highlight the flexibility and impact of digital. The fact the pyramid can be positioned near key computer retailers means we can reach consumers close to point of purchase and help our retail channel attract foot traffic.”
At my local shopping centre the only ads I have ever seen playing on the advertising panels that hang from the ceiling are “put your ad here now” ads.
Maybe people walking past will think Wow! Intel! I must find something with a chip in it to buy.
you should get out more Billy…
Don’t pyramids come to a point at the top?
Looks like 3 plasmas back-to-back… With a 2 minute video loop…
THAT’S innovation right there folks.
Someone needs to go back to school. That is a triangle, not a pyramid.
I am so impressed with this unique innovation.
Ads, on screens, in shopping centres.
wow
that’s a triangular prism.
Who’s going to stand around for 2 mins to watch a mall digital screen??
