‘We are proud to be Water Saving Superheroes’: The Wiggles and Sydney Water release new song for water conservation

Sydney Water and iconic children’s entertainers, The Wiggles, have come together to release Water Saving Superheroes – a song that teaches listeners, especially children, how they can conserve water at home.

Prompted by its research into Sydneysiders’ water habits – work that uncovered that only 46% of people try to have shorter showers and 41% of water users wait for the dishwasher to become full before using it – Sydney Water sees the collaboration as the perfect “community education opportunity”, according to its conservation programs manager, Suhanti Thirunavukarasu.

“Drinking water is a limited resource, and with a growing population and an increasing need to use water to keep Greater Sydney cool, we know that even outside of drought every little drop counts,” Thirunavukarasu explained.
