‘We now have one team, who are the absolute best in the business’: News Corp unveils its new client partnerships leadership team

News Corp has revealed its newly established client partnerships leadership team of industry leaders that will deliver integrated, end-to-end campaign solutions across the entire News network.

Cameron Curtis joins the team in the newly-created role of general manager of performance, planning, and strategy to develop, implement, and prioritise strategic sales initiatives across the national group. He will also lead network planning and market analysis and oversee sales performance.

With over 20 years of experience in the media, advertising, and tech industries, Curtis has worked across some of Australia’s best-known media businesses- most recently leading the ANZ operation of Beatgrid. He will step into his new role in September.

Newsamp executive general manager Renee Sycamore moves into the newly-created role of general manager of client growth and experience. She will develop and implement strategies to optimise the client journey, cultivating loyalty and fuelling business growth.

Furthermore, Ian Paterson has been appointed as general manager of advertising sales for NSW, commencing in October. He will lead the state strategy and drive business results for clients while ensuring News’ continued success and industry leadership.

Paterson will work alongside former head of agency VIC, Natalie Grabbe, who has been promoted to general manager of advertising sales of VIC and Kelly Healy, who continues in her role as general manager of advertising Sales for QLD, SA, and WA.

Executive general manager of client growth Belinda MacPherson takes on the new position of general manager, SMB growth and marketplace to lead business development and identify SMB growth opportunities.

Rounding out the national leadership team is the general manager of commercial operations, Nathalie Delpierre, who takes on the role of general manager of client delivery, ad tech and programmatic and strategic programs and transformation director, Victoria Obee, who has been promoted to general manager of client enablement and operations.

Both roles are critical in supporting the sales teams and driving positive growth outcomes for clients.
