Westpac invents ‘the missing wallet dance’ to promote cardless cash
Westpac Bank has created ‘the missing wallet dance’ as part of an ad to promote the benefits of its cardless cash feature.
The 30 second ad spot shows customers about to make a purchase until they realise they don’t have their wallet on them, subsequently frantically searching for it while dance music plays.
Created by DDB Sydney, the ad then shows people tapping their pockets and shirts as they look for their wallet.
Resolving the problem, a man buying a coffee opens his Westpac app and withdraws cash from an ATM by selecting the cardless cash option.
