Whippet unveils management and creative team restructure

With 2025 just beginning, the creative and management team at comms agency, Whippet, has been reworked.
The announcement:
Independent retail communications agency Whippet heads into 2025 with a reengineered management and creative team operating from new premises in Melbourne’s CBD.
Building on decades of experience guiding retailers and brands through the customer journey, Whippet now has a renewed focus on maximising opportunities in the retail media landscape.
Former client services director Adam Rafferty steps into the role of customer & strategy director to drive both retail and brand thinking, with the appointment of Lucy Yeo, former GM of digital agency Oliver Grace as managing director, and the promotion of Lauren Hughes to operations director boosting the agency’s leadership team. Senior account director Sam Douglas continues to grow client services for the agency.
On the creative front, creative group head Bec Williams, design director Matt Coghlan and head of copy Flavia Mazdon bring their collective talents and extensive retail experience to the creative table.
Founder and principal Steve Stoner comments, “This new structure highlights the strengths of the team and recognises their contributions to the business. I’m particularly excited to welcome Lucy Yeo back into the Whippet family. Lucy was with us previously for eight years as Senior Account Director and her return as Managing Director reflects our drive and determination to shake up the creative retail space in 2025. With new offices in the CBD and a tight-knit team of incredible talent, it’s exciting times ahead!”
Whippet’s current clients include Priceline, Bapcor, and recently Big W, having previously worked as a lead agency for Coles, Coles Financial Services and Flybuys.
