White Agency hires new Melbourne MD
Digital consultancy The White Agency has made a senior hiring to its Melbourne office with Mat Medcalf taking on the GM role.
Medcalf, a former head of innovation at Naked Communications in Sydney, was most recently commercial director of Melbourne comms agency Spin Communications.
He replaces Travis Gribbon, who departed a couple of months ago. Medcalf said: “In this climate, clients are increasingly looking for powerful yet cost effective ways to gain market share and customer engagement.”
White Agency CEO Miles Joyce told Mumbrella: “Melbourne is a very important market for us so this appointment is crucial.”
The White Agency, which is affiliated to holding company STW, originally set up its Melbourne office a couple of years ago to service client Sensis.
