Wil Anderson to step in as host for Triple M breakfast
Triple M has snagged a big, albeit temporary, replacement for its vacant Melbourne breakfast slot.
Following news that Marty Sheargold will step down from the role at 105.1 to move to afternoons, Southern Cross Austereo has confirmed that popular Aussie comedian Wil Anderson will take over hosting duties alongside Collingwood premiership player, Daisy Thomas, and Triple M mainstay, Rosie Walton.
The new show will kick off this Monday and run through to the end of the AFL season on Friday 4 October.
“I am a huge fan of Rosie, Daisy, and Triple M. I’m ready to take off the sub vest and help the team charge towards a run deep into the finals,” Anderson said.
Be brave and give unknowns a go, I can name a few that are out of radio and working normal jobs to stay afloat that would do a much better job and no, they are not outdated “Comedians”, TV Reality cue jumpers or Ex Footy so called Celebrities. Will has plenty of money from Tax payers on ABC, I was a Carlton supporter for many years but have dropped off. You know where I’m going here. Wake up SCA.
