Wild Boys beats Underbelly in Seven and Nine Sunday tussle
The debut of Australian bushranger drama Wild Boys on Seven was the highest rating show for Sunday night ahead of Underbelly: Razor on Nine.
The new show, which aired at 7:30 and features Daniel MacPherson and Zoe Ventoura pulled in 1.674 million, according to preliminary metro ratings from OzTam.
Underbelly attracted 1.55 million and won its time slot but was down on last week’s audience of 1.76 million.
Both Nine and Seven had six shows each in the top 15 with two going to ABC1 and one to Ten.
Apart from Mcpherson being way to clean cut and good looking to be a bushranger, thought it was great. Nice job 7 great to see a little bit of well put together Aussie drama
Any news on The Bolt Report ratings yesterday?
No mention of how the audience for Wild Boys dropped dramatically as the episode progressed????
Do you think this might have been because Underbelly is so violent and people are fed up with dreadful scenes on television?
The opening scene showing bushrangers sleeping in the open on a floodway was enough for me. Anybody knows that you do not camp there. They were way too clean. I suppose Al Swearingen spoiled all this lightweight stuff.
What an impressive clean cut beard for a bushranger
