Will you be my homie?
If you caught this ‘advertisement’ at Sydney airport recently you’d have been forgiven for thinking it was a promo for some schmaltzy new R’n’B singer.
It was in fact the work of an employee of outdoor operator EYE. He used his company’s digital screen to propose to his girlfriend infront of a packed airport.
Vomit-inducing or a wildly romantic gesture? Dr Mumbo thinks he’ll leave it to Mumbrella readers to decide.
I wonder if they made him pay for it?
Nice hat!
Damn! And I spent the last week trailing CD shops looking for the single!
Creative at least.
Do you think he used MOVE to help work out which panel would deliver the best Reach?
at least it wasn’t one of those infamous ‘i know your a cheating bastard’ billboards that pop up every once in a while in the states.

i liked the new digital ones in the states that are broadcasting live tweets from conan obrien. smart way to showcase new technology for the company. it certainly is getting a lot of press.

Is he an extra from Underbelly 3?
If he really loved her he would have bought the silos!!!
Gag
Honestly, I would much rather be inside Paul Scholes.
Definitely vomit inducing.
Pity about the white goblin shoes.
I preferred the Red Cross billboard!
At least it was clever.
I may be biased, but I do like this effort.

Aww come on, romance may not be everyone’s cup of tea and not everyone’s idea of romance is the same. Give the guy a break. It was a sentimental gesture, it apparently reached its targeted audience and the result was a positive reception. Better than a drunken proposal in the gutter after a night out partying!!
Did he get it for an impression buy? Maybe $1,000,000 CPM …$1,000 per view
how funny are those shoes! the toe on them is ridicules!
