Woolworths has Jamie Oliver cooking for dads as Coles pushes fresh produce with Curtis Stone
Coles and Woolworths have adopted contrasting styles with their celebrity chef ambassadors in their latest campaigns, with Woolies pushing the Father’s Day angle as its rivals continues with a ‘fresh’ approach.
The latest ad created by Leo Burnett for Woolies is aimed at consumers entertaining for their family on Sunday, with Oliver preparing a seemingly simple lamb roast for all the “amazing dads out there” this Father’s Day.

Some really interesting, ground breaking, work here.
Wonder what would happen if they just stopped advertising? Would anyone notice?
Seems woolies copies everything Coles does.
We all know who the better Chef is. Just look at their current restaurants and the qulaity being put out.
Our home grown boy far ahead of the pommy import.
It’s like supporting a footie team. I shop at Coles and buy Preston’s burger meat etc.
My brother-in-law shops at Woolies and buys Oliver’s stuff – with sauce.
There’s a cooking show for some-one. Nothing fresh – everything from the fridge.
