X Factor and 800 Words both break 1m viewer mark handing Seven comfortable Tuesday win
The second outing of Seven’s Australian drama 800 Words was a ratings winner for the channel, grabbing 1.192m metro viewers in the 8.40pm timeslot to be the most-watched show of the evening.
While it was also the most-watched show amongst viewers aged 25-54, it was down slightly on last week’s audience of 1.219m. Last week’s debut also picked up an extra 131,000 viewers in time-shifted viewing to take its total audience to 1.35m.
It was a positive night for Seven, which won the night with a share of 24.9 per cent, with The X Factor winning its 7.30pm timeslot with a metro audience of 1.092m according to OzTam metro overnight ratings.
It out-rated Nine’s The Block which pulled in 858,000 metro viewers, up on last week’s audience of 838,000. The Block was the most-watched show amongst viewers aged 16-39 and 18-49.
The Block has obviously been “blocked”
