341,000 metro viewers tune in to Tony Jones’ final episode of Q&A
The 2019 finale of Q&A, and the last episode to be hosted by Tony Jones, saw 341,000 metro viewers tune in on Monday night. Joining Jones were former Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull, opposition leader Anthony Albanese, Indigenous leader Pat Turner, author Sisonke Msimang and ANU vice-chancellor Brian Schmidt.
The panel discussed climate change, particularly the lack of action by current Prime Minister Scott Morrison, and Indigenous affairs, before Jones bowed out with a promise to return as a fill-in host for new frontman Hamish Macdonald.
All the best, Peter and Tony. Go well. #QandA pic.twitter.com/8pusXkIigz
It’s comforting to know that more people watched Abba Forever than Tony Jones’ final Q&A.
Good riddance.

Also the last Q&A for EP and show creator Peter McEvoy. Who directed the proceedings more than Tony did. It will be interesting to see what the new EP and host do with it.
