All Blacks marketing boss Todd Barberel joins Mumbrella Sports Marketing Summit line up
The man charged with looking after marketing and commercial deals for one of New Zealand’s most treasured brands the All Blacks will be interviewed live on stage at Mumbrella’s Sports Marketing Summit next month.
Todd Barberel, the head of marketing, brand and commercial development, has been with NZ Rugby for 15 years, working in various roles with different sponsors including Adidas and AIG – which have both signed long-term contracts – as well as partners including Air New Zealand, which today released its new safety video starring a number of All Blacks players.
The appearance comes just over a week before the start of the Rugby World Cup, the pinnacle of the sport, where the team are defending champions.
Speakers previously announced include a keynote from Football Federation Australia (FFA) chief executive David Gallop, SBS football presenter Les Murray and Shane Mattiske, a NRL executive and current co-managing director of Repucom in Australia.
