ARN employing entire team to police Kyle and Jackie O

ARN has begun hiring a team of censors to make sure the Kyle and Jackie O show doesn’t break the no-sex content rule imposed on it as a licence condition.

Earlier this month, regulator ACMA gave notice it intends to impose an additional condition on ARN’s station licenses for KIIS 1065 in Sydney and KIIS 1011 in Melbourne, which will ban the Kyle and Jackie O Show from referencing sexual activity or sexual descriptions.

The ACMA filing defines sexual references as any “spoken words, innuendo and/or sound effects that would be understood by the ordinary reasonable listener as having a sexual meaning.”
