The Bachelor attracts 882,000 metro viewers to Ten

Last night saw 882,000 metro viewers tune in to Ten’s The Bachelor to see new season bachelor, Richie, meet 22 eligible women.

The season premiere was up on last year’s Bachelor debut which saw 846,000 tune in while the debut of the second season in 2014 pulled in 692,000 and the first season launch in 2013 attracted 669,000.

Spin-off series The Bachelorette, which saw Richie introduced to audiences when he competed for the heart of Sam Frost, grabbed 875,000 metro viewers on the season launch.
