Ten dumps The Bachelor from Sunday and Monday nights

ten logoChannel Ten has dropped The Bachelor from its primetime schedule on Sunday nights and Mondays to broadcast the show just once a week in a less competitive viewing time on Wednesdays.

The show premiered to 669,000 metro viewers last Sunday, lost viewers in its second outing on Monday, and dropped to 576,000 metro viewers for the third episode last night, according to preliminary overnight ratings from OzTam.

In the competitive Sunday night 7.30pm time slot The Bachelor has fallen below Channel Nine’s 60 Minutes and The X Factor on Seven, with audiences of over a million.
