
Black Sheep Advertising nabs co-creative director from Fuller

South Australia-based advertising agency, Black Sheep Advertising, has appointed ex-Fuller creative director, Michael Gagliardi, as co-creative director.
Gagliardi – also known as ‘Gags’ – has worked in the advertising sector for over a decade, helping brands such as Kathmandu, the South Australian Tourism Commission and Holden.
In his new role, he is expected to contribute to Black Sheep’s delivery of high-quality creative.

Several clients will be added to Gagliardi’s professional portfolio, including Krispy Kreme, End Food Waste Australia and Taboo Period Products, among others.
While Gagliardi has worked with Black Sheep Advertising on several projects in the past, his couldn’t help but express his excitement at officially joining the team as a leader.
“I’ve worked on a few projects with Black Sheep over the years, so getting the opportunity to now lead the team with David is exciting, to say the least,” Gagliardi said.
“I can’t wait to get stuck in and show what Black Sheep is creatively capable of.”
The position will also have Gagliardi working alongside Black Sheep Advertising’s other creative director, David Ormston.
Speaking on Gagliardi’s appointment to the company, the agency’s director of client services, Tom Ootes, said: “Bringing Gags into the team is symbolic of our plans for the evolution of the agency. We’re all about delivering effective work for our clients and creativity is a key determinant of this.
“When we heard Gags was available, we jumped at the opportunity to get him in.”
The agency’s principal, Andrew Millar, agreed: “Our aim is to always have a greater share of Adelaide’s pool of creative talent and Gags gets us there.”
The news comes shortly after the advertising company made waves for creating a powerful anti-drug driving campaign for South Australia Police.
