Fetch TV makes several senior appointments

Fetch TV has made key senior leadership appointments to advance its ‘Fetch 2.0’ strategy.

Under the leadership of recently appointed CEO, Dominic Arena, and after reporting 20% subscriber growth in the first half of FY25, the appointments aim to accelerate Fetch into its next phase of growth, re-positioning it as a modern Australian technology company.

Fetch hopes to scale to over 1 million households, reaching 3 million individuals by FY30.

“Fetch 2.0 is fundamentally about growing scale and profitability through optimisation of the core home entertainment platform business, while selectively extending our world-class products into relevant adjacencies,” Arena said.

“We’re investing in top-tier talent to capitalise upon our installed base of devices in around 715,000 homes, or 10% of Australian family households, comprising nearly 2 million unique individuals.”

The senior leadership appointments strengthen Fetch across finance and commercial, sales, product management, customer experience, marketing, and brand.

Fernie Jasmine Abdul Ghani joins Fetch in the newly-created role of chief customer officer, where she will lead the brand, marketing, creative design, communications, customer experience and insights, and customer support functions.

She brings over 30 years’ experience in APAC telecoms, financial services, and tech to the role, including her most recent post as head of group strategic comms and marketing at Axiata Group.

Eileen Khor joins as executive director, brand, product marketing, and creative design, with over 15 years of experience.

Most recently, Khor was senior manager, regional creative for SEEK, and has held other creative and marketing roles for AI agency, ada, and production house Endemol.

Meanwhile, Israel Sage-Pickin has joined in the newly-created role of general manager, sales and channels, bringing over 30 years of experience in business development, account management, and category insights to the role.

Sage-Pickin has previously worked across FMCG, telecoms, and consumer electronics including Telstra, Vita Group, Goodman Fielder, and BAT.

Sarah Alder, formerly Fetch’s chief financial officer, has been promoted to the newly-created role of chief revenue officer. She will lead key revenue-generating functions of sales, channels, commercial product management, and advertising and merchandising.

Prior to joining Fetch in 2023, Alder worked across Fox Sports, Sky News, and Network 10.

Finally, Alder’s CFO successor is Caitlin Cottom, who has been in Fetch’s finance team for nearly five years.
