Former Howatson+Co director joins Mumba Cloud as chief marketing officer
Former Howatson+Company strategist Clinton Duncan has gone brand side, as the new chief marketing officer of Australian-founded digital HR platform, Mumba Cloud.
Marking a significant step in Mumba’s growth plans, Duncan joins the brand’s executive team, headed up by recently-appointed CEO, Gavin Levinsohn, and founder and chief product officer, Anthony Zets.
Mumba specialises in HR for frontline workers, with over 70 best-practice HR actions to help businesses fix and streamline their systems, processes, and information.
“Mumba Cloud has cracked the code of frontline workforce adoption for HR-tech. It’s an impressive product, making complex processes seamless and intuitive,” Duncan said of his appointment.
“Transitioning from agency to client-side presents an exciting challenge. We have big ambitions, and I look forward to helping customers unlock the full potential of their frontline teams.”
As chief marketing officer, he will oversee Mumba’s brand strategy, advertising, content, customer and product marketing, PR, and social.
He has over 20 years of experience in advertising and brand marketing, including leadership roles at CHEP Network, Marcel Sydney, Designworks, Moon Communications Group, and most recently, Howatson+Company, where he spent nearly two years as group strategy director.
Levinsohn welcomed Duncan to the business, saying: “Clinton will ensure we can drive rapid growth, without trading away our brand, our positioning or any of the other important things that fast growing SaaS companies pointlessly surrender in the name of sales, performance and efficiency.”
