Mysterious Marvel movie to be made in Sydney following $24m federal handout

Marvel is to film an unnamed feature at Sydney’s Fox Studios later this year after the federal government stumped up a $24m subsidy for the production.

The movie will be the first major sci-fi production in Australia since Marvel’s Thor: Ragnarok at Village Roadshow’s Gold Coast studios in 2017.

Marvel’s Dr Strange, a sequel to Infinity War, is one of the productions slated for production in Sydney
