New category added to Australian Audio Awards, judges selected

The Australian Audio Awards will now include a new category that distinguishes station- and agency-made commercials, as the industry comes together around the May 2026 event.

The Awards — which celebrate the best of the radio, podcasting and audio world — are being held by Mumbrella, RadioToday and Radioinfo and judged by a jury of 100 industry figures.

You can register and begin your entries now. Entries close at midnight on 6 March, 2026.

The jury brings together a mix of leaders, trainers, practitioners along with previous award winners of the ACRAs and Radiotoday Podcast Awards. The mix of judges will balance experience and innovation with craft skills, industry understanding and strategic judgement.
