Nine ditches Parade’s End

Nine has moved its World War One period drama Parade’s End to its digital channel GEM after just one outing.

The BBC-HBO co-production failed to attract viewers when it aired on Nine on Wednesday, pulling in audiences of 453,000 and 322,000 for its double episodes according to metro ratings from OzTAM.

The schedule change came too late to catch weekend TV guides. TV Tonight reports that Parade’s End will be replaced by the movie Sherlock Holmes.
