NRMA asks staff to Talk This Way
Real staff sing the message in a new ad for NRMA Insurance and SGIO created by their outgoing agency Human.
The “Speak to a human” campaign saw staff from call centres and branches compete in an audition process to perform along to Aerosmith’s Walk This Way.
Meanwhile, NRMA has also created an ad on the same theme using members of the Brisbane Broncos.
Great, it’s the Good Guys ad converted into an Insurance Ad!!! And the musical version of the RACV ad running in Vic!!!
Love it, love it, love it.
Love to see a 60 version.
Its fun, straight to the point, approachable.
Well done Human.
The Bronco’s ad comes out the winner here.
What is it with all insurance companies feeling they have to sing to make a point? Guess it’s too much to have the unworry ads back?
How to butcher a brand. Fail.
i want to like it. i really do.
it kills the ‘UN-worry’ campaign….
But it just doesn’t fit my brand NRMA. POssibly a strategy to inject some life into the brand?
… another singing insurance ad.
‘whhhhadabout meee i never claimmmm’
Bloody awful
Is this brand really the market leader? You have to wonder with crap advertising like this. NRMA should be able to do better than this.
Isn’t this just copying Suncorp Bank?
No the new NRMA ad is not copying Suncorp or AAMI’s ad about “Speak to a real person”
When they are advertising “Speak to a real person” they are saying they dont have an IVR (Interactive Voice Responce) system, i.e press 1 for a quote, press 2 etc
From the get-go you speak to a real person to direct your call.
Where IAG’s NRMA/SGIO “Walk this way, Talk this way” campain is more focusing on the features that it doesnt COST you more to get a quote or set up a policy with them in person or over the phone, than it does to do it online” and by talking to them you can ask questions about coverage, exclusions or payments, so you have the full picture of what you are buying, when purchasing your insurance.
As some companies do charge less online, but the customer may still have unanswered questions about the policy in which they are paying for. Therfore if you do have any questions about the policy before you take it out, you can talk with a consultant at no extra charge from what you would be paying online.
I vomited in my mouth when I saw this ad. Seriously, what a waste of money.
The girl walking to the door irritates me. It’s nothing personal, i am sure she is a beautiful girl, but she does my head in.
Wonder why they changed agencies…
